We start from Amazon UK bestsellers and search demand, keeping only products sold new in the UK with a warranty and enough verified reviews to be meaningful.

2. Compare the specifications

Capacity, power, materials, ingredients, warranty – taken from manufacturer documentation and laid out side by side so claims can be checked.

3. Check official guidance

NHS, EFSA and FSA for health products; safety standards, energy labels and recall notices for everything else. We link every source.

4. Read the reviews properly

We look for recurring praise and complaints across verified Amazon UK reviews – not star averages – and record the price on a stated date.
